A writing agent must have a valid NPN and state license in which they are selling health plans
Writes (creates and submits the eligibility application)
Upon enrollment submission, the writing agent, if appointed with the carrier, may choose themselves as the AOR
If the writing agent does not have an appointment with the carrier, they can select a designated AOR upon enrollment submission
To confirm your status as Agent of Record:
Check Your JET Insure Dashboard
Approved applications will show in your active applications list
Status updates may take 24-48 hours to reflect carrier systems
