There are multiple ways an agent account can be set up:
Agent creates their individual account in the JET EDE Web-Broker Portal
An existing agency sends invite to an agent with a JOIN CODE
An existing agency admin adds agent information from Agency Management
Choose Account Type
Click on Sign up now on the JET Insure EDE Portal home screen

Create Account
Enter the required details
You will receive an account activation email
After your account has been activated, you can now log in to the JET Insure EDE Portal
Set up carrier appointments
Select states and carriers you are appointed with
You can skip this step and set up appointments later. Please note that you will not be able to submit plan selection without a carrier appointment unless there is an NPN override option available
Enable EDE
You will need to enable EDE in order to create/search Marketplace applications
Enter a valid NPN if you did not enter one during signup
Link your account with CMS
Verify your identity
The agent will receive an email notification.
Create Account
Since the invite has been sent by an agency, the join code is pre-populated
Agent will enter other details
Make sure the name matches your NPN account with NIPR
Make sure the email address is the one you will receive emails from JET Health
Activate Account
Agent will receive an account activation email
After the account has been activated, the agent can now log in to the JET Insure EDE Portal
Set up carrier appointments
Select states and carriers
You can skip this step and set up appointments later. Please note that you will not be able to submit plan selection without a carrier appointment unless there is an NPN override option available
Existing administrator of an agency adds a new agent from Agency Management
Navigate to “Agency Management”.
Click the “Add Agent” link.
Fill in the necessary information for the agent, such as their name, NPN, and any other required fields.
The Agent type field is mandatory, with multiple selections (Executive, Quality Assurance (QA), Sales, and Service).
Once you've entered all the agent details accurately, click the "ADD" button to save the information and add the agent to the system.
Select States: Locate the "Select States" section and check the boxes next to the states you want to assign to the user; multiple states can be selected.
Select Carriers: Once you've chosen the states, the "Select Carriers" section will become active; choose the carriers relevant to each state and select multiple carriers per state if needed.
Review Selections: The "Selected States & Carriers" section will display your choices, allowing you to verify that the correct states and carriers are selected.
Save Changes: Click the "SAVE" button at the bottom of the page to finalize your selections and assign the states and carriers to the user.
The agent will receive an account activation email.
After the agent account has been activated, they can now log in to the JET Insure EDE Portal.
The agent will need to Enable EDE in order to create/search Marketplace applications.

Add Agent
Existing administrator of an agency can create an additional admin account from Agency Management
Enter the required agent information
Select 'Admin Agent' role on the 'Add Agent' screen
The agent will receive an account activation email
After the agent account has been activated, they can now log in to the JET Insure EDE Portal
Set up carrier appointments
Agency admin can skip this step
Enable EDE
Agent will need to enable EDE to access Marketplace applications
